While serving in the military, a Marine sergeant (James Marsden) believes his family's ties to organized crime are a thing of the past. However, an act of insubordination and a visit from the F.B.I. send him packing to his South Philadelphia hometown, and he discovers that his brother (Brad Renfro) and his cousin (Giovanni Ribisi) have become entangled with mobsters, leaving him with only one way to save them.

Coming from a guy who just won an Oscar for screenwriting? One has the right to expect something a little less rote, redundant, and oppressively familiar as 10th & Wolf.

I thought this movie was very entertaining. It won’t win an Oscar, but it was well worth watching just another gangster movie but with a nice twist, I recommend it.

Idk if it's more a fail in casting than acting but none of these main characters could run a block let alone city. It's like kids playing in grownup roles.

An undercover informant goes back to his routes and is torn between betraying his family or serving time in prison......a story told a million times before, but was still worth a watch.

There are a lot of cliches in Mafia type films. And that is because there ARE constant themes in Mafia life. Not all Mafia films are trying to be The Godfather. And they needn't be. This is a gritty, down home and personal, day in the life representation. Some performances don't quite ring true, but I enjoyed the ensemble cast. And the more local feel of the movie. Violent, intense, emotional and for me relatable; I know about "the life" firsthand.

Good cast but the acting for this cast is lazy and almost comical at times especially during dramatic scenes . I Would compare the directing style to a student project but with a Hollywood budget, despite all that i still watched the whole movie and enjoyed it .
