Ron T @Ron750 Mar 12 I bailed after 25 minutes. I have a veteran son. I have empathy for combat veterans. I don’t think being homeless is a virtue. Yes, people are way too materialistic and could do a lot more to help the less fortunate. But like putting your oxygen mask on first, before helping others, you have to be functional to help others. I lived in NYC. I’ve seen young men with gangrene, sitting on the street, putting Gold Bond on their feet. Don’t glamorize that. Become a paramedic or doctor. Homelessness is a failure of government, mental health commitment laws, and family breakdown. Joining them is not productive. Maybe the rest of the movie addresses that, I won’t find out.
