06/11/2021 I remember seeing some of these horrible scenes as a child so it was captivating hearing so many of the people involved discussing these events from so many diverse points of view. Credit to the filmmaker for finding so many first person participants and weaving the historical footage with those interviews. 8.5/10 See more 05/15/2021 This was a good documentary to watch . It's impossible to ignore the political environment in which it was made. Ultimately, this film is so one sided , that , by the end , it was becoming difficult not to take the side of police officers and peacemakers in general. See more 07/06/2020 Another great piece of history. My buddy who is from LA drove through these riots to the airport and even pointed out the exact spot and roads he drove through. Overall another great history lesson. See more 04/28/2017 Great movie/documentary. Being that I was very young during the riots and unrest in LA, I never knew the extent of what happened.
