It is not a great movie, but it is also not a terrible one. The film has moments of creativity, humor, and charm that help make it an enjoyable experience. It does what it needs to do when it comes to developing its characters and creating the type of comedy it is aiming for. The screenplay is decent enough to support the story, even though the movie never fully reaches its potential. There are ideas and opportunities that could have made this film much stronger, but instead, it feels somewhat flat and predictable in certain areas. However, when the comedy works, it genuinely works and provides some entertaining moments. Jerry O’Connell is one of the biggest highlights of the movie. His goofy personality has always been part of his charm, but this role takes that energy to another level. He brings a lot of fun to the film and helps carry many of the stronger scenes.
