myoldass k @RT43776962 Apr 10 Could've been GREAT! Some of the acting is poor and the script is pretty bad in some parts! Good soundtrack good storyline remennisint of Stand by me. But because of the poor acting a sometimes non-sensical script it is painful to watch at times. SHAME! Really had the potential to be a cute movie! Hopefully this is a rookie just warming up Actors sound like robots reading their lines with big pauses in between especially but not limited to the main characters mother! She's really pathetic and annoying. Lots of gaps where there shouldn't be! The main character saved the day! Had she not been so great I would've have finished it! Bravo to her! Otherwise a whole group of over actors and under actors without any chemistry! The girls brother just died and if I didn't see it in the first 5 minutes then you couldn't tell? Parents are like -Who cares! Lol I don't believe I saw them shed one tear? WEIRD! The weird friend was overly acting weird so much so it was unbelievable. I could go on and on but I'll stop now! The acting, dialogue and some of the camerawork is just amateurish. That said, it does look as though the makers tried hard to make a good movie. Overall it isn't bad. Lots of effort put into cinematography and lighting, not quite as much as effort put into acting and script. With better directing these actors are probably capable of delivering better results.
