Despite the film's initial overloading of suburban stereotypes, the easy gags about promiscuity, baby vomit and nappy changing gradually give way to a pretty decent, if strictly formulaic, yarn about commitment and unexpected life changes. There is no chemistry between the leads and far more chemistry between the female protagonist and the doctor but why let chemistry get in the way of a trite and overly predictable script. It could have funny were it not so poorly written or had there been a twist in the end. Such awful stuff. Avoid.
