George M @Milkyway Oct 9 One of the best blaxploitation and westerns in either genre. Fred Williamson is a stalwart hero, but D'Urbville Martin steals every scene he's in. I especially enjoyed his system of penalties which fill his and Boss pockets. It has a great theme song I wish I could locate on mp3. See more 06/22/2020 Basically a blacksploitation Western with a bit of Blazing Saddles mixed in, Boss N****r is most notable for its' extremely liberal use of the 'N' word, as well other historically demeaning racial and ethnic stereotypes, chiefly in service of progressive minority empowerment. A trope-heavy storyline is enhanced through fairly successful injections of humor. A period curiosity to be sure. See more 11/03/2016 this movie is badass See more 09/17/2016 Funky 70s blaxploitation western starring Fred Williamson and D'Urville Martin as a pair of very hip bounty hunter who take over as sheriff and deputy of a town of racist white folks in hopes of drawing out the villainous William Smith. Williamson is great, as always, but when you have my all-time favorite villainous character actor, William Smith, spewing hate at the top of his lungs, how can you go wrong.
