Kyle M @RT77296778 Sep 30, 2026 It's what you’d expect from a foreign stylized thriller, except that it merely unravels mysteriously and spikes a viewer’s own curiosity when following the macguffin brushing onto many plot threads, willing to trace back and target then anything further as potentially sought. Beineix accommodated compelling visual beats in periodical rhythms between uniquely cinematographed adrenaline, the sole motor of its categorized assignment, and nicely soothing operatic music served as bridged filter for the film’s plots, complimenting the number of threads with much polished progression for some of them. David M @vicardave Jun 17, 2026 This French drama may not have a lot going on in terms of ideas and themes, but the surface is beautiful to behold. Funny, engrossing if not tense, beautifully shot, and stylishly directed, images - and especially the colour blue - will remain peppered in your brain long after seeing it. A young man who idolises an opera singer is on the run from a whole bunch of people, exposing corruption and crime as he goes. At times almost hallucinatory, even if it is mostly surface it is very hard to forget. See more

Ed . @RT01276001 Aug 29, 2025 Attitude, Operatude and Dark Style over Substance 4 star tude, 1 star plot, 4 star influencer I'll weigh the plot doubly, so that's an average of 2.5 stars overall. The Asian girl is utterly ridiculous. I and my friends watching this film with me did not especially care much about the characters. With a reasonably plausible story, this would have been a fine film. See more
