alex T @RT44804308 3 days ago An absolute masterpiece. Acting, Writing, Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Score etc. A 3 hour plus film that moves at a kinetic pace. Yes, I understand it plays with fast and loose with certain facts, but who cares. As a film, flawless. See more Jacob W @RT17896586 Oct 23, 2026 JFK is a great film depicting events of 1963. Oliver Stones film has always been good at telling stories of real events and this is no exception. The cast are made up of the best of the best. Headed by Kevin Costner. One of the cast is John Candy who you normally associate with comedy however in this he demonstrates that he didn’t just do comedy and makes you realise how good he was and what a giant we have lost. Very entertaining. See more Oliwer N @Oli11 Sep 2, 2026 This movie feels like the 1st Oppenheimer's style movie and I love it! See more Tomasi A @RT12747811 Jun 2, 2026 While the theories presented by Stone as to who may have been behind the death of Pres. John F. Kennedy are rather preposterous, it is more important to view and keep in mind the facts that Jim Garrison collected. JFK does a fantastic job in collecting all known facts and presents them in a compelling manner. The editing is masterful and frenetic, the pace is rapid, but because of the nearly unending volume of facts presented, the uninitiated will feel easily overwhelmed. Hence, it's best to focus on the facts brought by the movie (why was Gen. Edward Geary Lansdale really in Dealey Plaza that day? how could a single bullet kill JFK in such a manner? who would profit from his death?) and to pass on the wild theories (Fidel Castro killed JFK?). This is definitely a must watch film. See more Leprechaun K @LeprechaunKing May 4, 2026 Arguably Stone's best work, second only to Platoon. Movie is long but there is so much packed into the 3 1/2 hours that it can be challenging to follow. Read up on the conspiracy theory and come back to it for a better experience. A must watch for Americans and non-Americans alike. See more Bret M. @BretM-3 Apr 8, 2026 Man, I don’t feel smart enough to fully comprehend this movie. This is a political thriller that you have to be locked in for. If you start to doze off, you’re gonna miss something crucial. And it might be hard for some not to fall asleep during this three and a half hour behemoth! In all seriousness though, this movie is crazy. In a three and a half hour runtime, this movie tells one of the most complex and intuitive stories I’ve ever seen. Everything leads to the next and everything is important for solving this mystery. This movie also has one of the most STACKED casts I’ve ever seen! While some people only get a few scenes, like John Candy, they make the most of their screentime. I also just love the visuals of this film. It blends color with black and white in a way I’ve never seen done before. And I love how it mixes in real life footage related to the JFK killing. Overall, this is a pretty good movie, it’s just a very long one that you have to be locked in for the entire time. See more Read all reviews
