Stranded after a plane crash in the Andes mountains, individual members of Uruguay's rugby team respond differently. Group leader Nando (Ethan Hawke) tries to keep everyone's spirits up; medical student Roberto (Josh Hamilton) diligently treats cases of frostbite and gangrene; loose cannon Antonio (Vincent Spano) gradually loses his composure. Once all available foodstuffs run out, the group faces a terrible dilemma: eat one or more of their deceased teammates, or die.

The location photography is impressive, the scenery is awesome, the re-enactment of the air crash is terrifying and uses convincing special effects. mohammed M. @9mr_0 Jan 24 الفلم بشكل عام حلو . القصة ‏عن مأساه إنسانية واقعية و هذا الي خلى المخرج يعتمد على الماساة و تعاطف المشاهد و ترك العمق الدرامي للقصة . لان القصة ضعيفة دراميا و انت كمخرج اذا تريد تتناول حادثة وقعت فعليا عليك ان تاخذ بعين النظر جوانب اخرى لهذه الحادثة ليس فقط انها ماساة ويجب التعاطف معها . اداء الممثلين كان جيد و واضحة روح الفريق و الكيمياء بين عضاء الطاقم كانهم فريق لكن المخرج ركز على شخصيات محدده و خلى الباقين كانهم كومبارس وليسوا جزء من ماساة حقيقية . ما فشلوا فية هم و المخرج هو إظهار الجانب النفسي للشخصيات الفلم فية تحولات و قرارات ليست بالسهلة المخرج جعلها بغاية السهوله اضافة الفلم يتحدث عن حادثة ماسواية امتدت لفترة لم نلاحظ اي تغير على الشخصيات سواء كان جسدي او نفسي. التصوير كان ممتاز و محسوب بشكل جيد جعلني كمشاهد اشعر يشعر بالقصة اكثر. الموسيقى كانت جيدة و لم اشعر بالانزعاج منها . الفلم حلو في تصوير تجربة البقاء على قيد الحياة و النجاة لكن يفتقد للعمق الدرامي المخرج تناول الشخصيات بشكل سطحي كان من الممكن ان يغوص اكثر في الجوانب النفسية للشخصيات الفلم كان من الممكن ان يظهرة بواقعية اكثر كان من الممكن ان يعطي مساحة للشخصيات ويركز على شخصيات اكثر في الفلم .
