Sally F @Ginge62 Jan 21 Uh! I was expecting a more serious script, given that it's about serial killers, but the acting was wooden and too soulless. Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter were OK, but this was far below their capabilities. Some 80's films are a bit par for the course. Just not gritty enough, this was no exception. Sure the cast is great but there are no characters, the plotting is slow and laborious, and it's trying to be a silence of the lambs clone but it's got none of the charm or style. Although I liked Copy Cat just as much and the cast was fantastic! This is the type of movie that I have missed seeing in movie theaters in recent years: strong ensemble casts(with movie stars), good quality across the board. This movie could fall into the horror or scare category, as what is more scary than knowing these people exist in the world!
