In this TV version of the Broadway musical, classic comic strip character Annie (Alicia Morton) is rescued from the misery of Miss Hannigan's (Kathy Bates) orphanage by Grace Farrell (Audra McDonald), whose employer, curmudgeonly tycoon Oliver Warbucks (Victor Garber), has decided to take in an orphan for Christmas.
