Marshall P @RT84944605 6 days ago People are wingeing on about the fact that the film seems to be a bit sermony - i.e. stuffing morality down your face, but why are they letting that get in the way of the fact that its an excellent film, with great performances, script, stories etc. If it was a lame duck and a bit sermony, well then yeah fine - nothing to see here. The sermon seems to be the heart of the film, so get over it. The guy wanted to make a film with that at the centre and here it is, get over it. Its also about the hypocrisy of life, and lots of other things. I loved it. It's switching from one storyline to another kept you engaged like Pulp Fiction. A wonderful cast with a script that gave everyone a starring role made this an event movie. One of those that had people talking about how we should get along in this world. But even then it had the feeling of movie making by committee,, address this issue, check. And age has been the cruelest judge. Crash won 63 awards including Best Picture Oscar, Best Screenplay Oscar and Best Editing Oscar. Amongst a whole lot of dislikeable characters is that the cop played by Matt Dillon is the most sympathetic character. But maybe that says more about me than I'd like to admit. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jul 27, 2026 Crash is an intense and emotionally charged film that successfully connects multiple storylines into one powerful narrative. The movie follows several different characters whose lives unexpectedly collide, creating a story filled with conflict, tension, and deeply emotional moments. The biggest strength of the film is its incredible ensemble cast, with each actor bringing depth and realism to their role. Sandra Bullock delivers another memorable performance, and I truly am infatuated with Sandra Bullock and everything she’s in. She continues to prove why she is such a captivating actress. The screenplay does an excellent job developing each character while showing how their choices and experiences impact one another. The direction keeps the audience fully engaged, balancing multiple perspectives without losing focus. While Crash is not necessarily a film I would revisit often because of its heavy themes, it is still a powerful cinematic experience that leaves an impression. See more Read all reviews
