01/03/2014 This is a film about a newly single mom who's having a terrible time to reconstruct herself after the death of her husband. Uncapable of dealing with her young son she escapes and find a new start in a different town, making new friends, getting a new job, starting a new life. It's a portrait of a woman seen through 17 different moments of her reconstruction. It's well shot, well acted, the main actress is absolutely fascinating to watch on screen, but somehow it feels & is a first time film. Good effort from the whole ensemble though. See more 07/23/2010 Christophe Honore's directorial feature debut. Not a very appealing one. Honore was once a children's book author; his film-work (either as a director or a writer), however, seldom targets for children. Instead, homosexuality & emotionally-troubled woman (man sometimes, like < Dans Paris >) are his two big topics usually. Alex Beaupain, who has been taking the musical part in Honore's later projects (including the fantastic < Les Chansons D'amour >), was already participated in this one.
