We are wrapped up in the story and we feel for all the characters even though some are hard to like. A masterpiece of storytelling, directing and cinematography making Paris a third character. Meanwhile, all of the adults around him want him to control him and force him to remain a little kid. The cinematography is wonderful. Its a bit slow though, and could have been cut by about 20 minutes.
