The film, directed by Brett Donowho and written by Nicolas Aaron Mezzanatto, works as a proper crime thriller, where the conflict between good and evil —anchored in a strong moral component— becomes the axis of the plot. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

What could've been a decent cheap thrill is really nothing more than a somewhat unhealthy way to kill 85 minutes. Go to Full Review

If you want a dose of bullets and all kinds of aberrant acts, you can expect plenty of them in the film that, as the name implies, "Acts of Violence", is specially designed for it. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Blake- N @PBSAniDom Apr 30 Acts of Violence is one of the most disappointing action films in recent memory and easily ranks as one of the worst in its category. Despite a cast that suggests potential for a solid, gritty thriller, the final result feels lifeless and uninspired. The story is extremely thin and relies on overly familiar tropes without adding anything fresh or engaging. Instead of building tension or emotional weight, the film moves from one predictable scene to the next with little sense of purpose or impact. The action, which should be its saving grace, is also underwhelming. It lacks intensity, creativity, and any real sense of stakes, making it hard to care about what’s happening on screen. Character development is minimal, leaving everyone feeling interchangeable and forgettable. Overall, it’s a hollow experience that fails on nearly every level. A 0/10: dull, repetitive, and ultimately pointless. See more Jenifer D. @Sierebel Mar 2 Don’t bother watching. Similar plot to taken but I really liked it and I don't know why it's getting so much hate. Maybe because it's dealing with human trafficking and that makes people feel uncomfortable.
