Ratie T @RT85257901 1d This film started dead with the death of the main character from Prometheus and David's plan. Then leaving out the stupidity of being on another planet without helmet the film is good. It's a real shame Scott didn't go through his original plan from Prometheus and we didn't get a trilogy. It was not good or interesting at all. And they basically wasted a good opportunity to do an amazing sequel to Prometheus...it wasn't it. Very busybody film, no direction, no explanation, no really depth either. It was just about David being jealous of humans, mad he was created to serve humans so he used the aliens so he could be creator and play God. Not worth watching and money wasted making. Definitely don't recommend unless you just like gore and aliens you will like it but if you need things to make sense and good acting don't bother. Also horrible casting, there weren't any good actors nor actresses in this film that should have been the first red flag it was gonna be trash! Ridiculous decisions by all crew members throughout the whole movie. Was shaking my head throughout almost the whole thing. Some decent scenes, but to little too late. (why was the bioweapon released? just because? this needed to be explored/ explained way more) Almost turned it off halfway through. VERY predictable ending, saw it coming a mile away (apparently none of the crew did). Only positives are Michael Fassbender is great and there are pretty cool visuals and effects but that is not even close to enough to save this one. What a shame. This could have been super great with proper writing and realistic decisions made by a competent crew. Just save yourself the time and skip this one. Shame. One word describes this movie: Stupid.
