A beautifully filmed movie with a story about a loving successful same sex couple and the relationship with their extended family and friends. It is well paced enough to allow for the development of the central characters you can’t help but to care about. It speaks to the theme of what constitutes family (blood or chosen). The director’s storytelling provides glimpses into each characters’ place in life and the pressures each face living in today’s modern society. It is a relevant cautionary tale that is universal. A story that is woven with love and its resilience.

A beautiful film in both its cinematography and the delicacy and thought-provoking way in which it portrays Angie’s story of injustice. I felt such sympathy and sadness for the protagonist. The film serves as a stark reminder of how in death, families can be torn apart by money and material matters and lose sight of the love and human connection.
