If you're looking for polish or sophistication from "Anna And The Apocalypse," you're chomping on the wrong neck. But the songs are bouncy, the performances fresh and the gore happily not in any way related to real life. You got to love that.

So many people are taking this one way too seriously. It is a Christmas musical with Zombies. It's not supposed to be a serious horror movie or a serious musical. This film is exactly what it promises to be, a campy, cheesy, Christmas time piece of dumb fun. It has a great mix of zombie horror, comedy and teenage angst. It's made it's way onto my annual Christmas watch list and I genuinely think it's such a fun movie that I'd recommend highly at Christmas time. Yeah it's more Highschool musical meets Shaun of the Dead than La La Land since La La Land is a far more high budget serious musical. This is not that kind of music, turn your brain off and just enjoy it.

This movie deserves so much more love. The songs are so catchy, the actors are great. It's so much fun, it's like high school musical, night of the living dead and a sweet Christmas movie all rolled into one.

If you thought Cop Rock was one of the worst television shows of all time, you're REALLY gonna hate this movie! A Christmas movie about self-absorbed high school kids, breaking into song and dancing their way through battling zombies? Well, I still thought it was WAY better and more realistic than Glee and on that TV show. they were actually supposed to sing! The catchy tunes, great harmonies, and elaborate dance moves elevated this movie to a guilty pleasure for me. Sorry, not sorry.
