I liked Brion James; and Murphy and Nolte still had a solid rapport - so the film is watchable but not anything more. And then the owed money for jail protection from a certain jailed individual. Also, the biker gang, tries to get revenge for their fallen brother. All in all a good movie. If they want a third one, I wouldn't know where to start, but you have to introduce a new enemy, the reason why to pull the antagonists back. See more Anon A @RT51367809 03/07/2025 A pretty crappy, disjointed, hard to follow movie, which like others have implied, was a tired rehash of the good original movie that spawned it. The whole thing felt like the actors were just going through the motions, and creating nothing more than a flawed and far less engaging recap of the much better 48 hrs.. If my saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t even TRY to fix it” sounds like a wearying repetition of something you’ve heard others say before, it would be less of a tiring regurgitation of an old cliché than this movie was (in its entirety). Minor Spoiler Alert: The opening scene with the bikers in the bar was in a way one of the best scenes in the movie, because it hadn’t got too convoluted and absurd yet at that point. And so, there was actual uncluttered and unfettered tension in that scene, without the movie having yet been bogged down in the quicksand which it ended up drowning in.
