Justin G. Dyck's very smart movie lures viewers in with its clever concept and instantly strong characters only to present them with the kind of nightmare fuel that would impress Clive Barker. Go to Full Review

Anything for Jackson is a perfect example of wasted potential, as the film contains some solid elements that Dyck fails to build upon. Go to Full Review

Hilarious, terrifying, and mournful, Anything for Jackson is a horror-comedy that gets both parts of the equation perfectly right. Go to Full Review

It's rare to find this kind of tonal mastery in a film in which so much crazy shit happens, and the tiny swirl of deadpan humor is perfect for leavening such an ultimately unsettling story. Go to Full Review

Marco G @ser0bi1392 4d An impressive little horror film that mixes dark humor with the supernatural in a way that entertained. At its core, it’s about grief and how far people are willing to go to see someone they love again. It gets dark and a little absurd at times. With that said, the lore behind the dark magic kept my interest and ending had me feeling satisfied. Hard to say too much without spoiling it, but it definitely keeps you on your toes. It had one creepy moment, but overall it just made me angry because it had so much potential and ultimately failed to deliver. It wasn't scary at all, except for the scene with the contorted guy; even that got old after a while and didn't retain its fright factor. It's frustrating how a movie can start strong and then decline so significantly as it progresses. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to waste your time. The grandparents shouldn’t play with the dead things See more W V @Lwalts Aug 6 I can't believe it has such a high rating, plot barely made sense, poor acting, not scary, rubbish. See more Gabriel T @GabrielFagundes Jun 24 It's quite okay. It can be quite funny. The supernatural seemed farfetched for me, but other people would like this style more See more Read all reviews
