Max Fist (Joe Manganiello) is a local drunk who claims to be a superhero from the planet Chromium. He tells anyone who will listen that he was pulled into a wormhole, falling through time and space, and dropped to earth without any of his powers. No one pays any attention to Max except a teenager named Hamster (Skylan Brooks) who can’t get enough of Max’s stories. When Hamster and his sister (Zolee Griggs) get in trouble with a vicious drug syndicate led by The Manager (Glenn Howerton), Max takes to the streets as a brutal vigilante hellbent on proving himself as the hero no one believes him to be.

Beyond the massive plot holes and the lazy writing, Archenemy suffers from terrible performances that feel flatter than a low-budget B-movie. Every scene feels fake and forced, failing to sell even the simplest dialogue. It tries to be 'edgy' with its comic-book style, but it’s just a hollow, poorly acted disaster that makes no sense from start to finish. Don't waste your time.

Surprised by all the Meh reviews. I thought is was great. Loved how the interspersed anime throughout the movie. The story was cool, well acted. Yeah, going to keep for sure. Not sure what everyone else was watching. Anywho...

I thought it was pretty good. Would be fun to have a box office reboot to dive deeper into everything. and keep the main characters. The only thing I’d change is remove the cartoons from the flashback. All in all I give it a solid 4.

One time, i had to wait at the wrong office at the equivalent of the DMV, for like 1 hour and a half. Still a better time investment. This movie is shit.
