Gary Faulkner (Nicolas Cage), an ex-con, unemployed handyman, and modern day Don Quixote receives a vision from God telling him to capture Osama bin Laden. Armed with only a single sword purchased from a home-shopping network, Gary travels to Pakistan to complete his mission. While on his quest, Gary encounters old friends back home in Colorado, new friends he makes in Pakistan, the enemies he makes at the CIA -- and even God and Osama themselves.

What was Cage thinking? See if he can play the most obnoxious, annoying character with a ridiculous script and have it make money simply because he’s Nick Cage? Wendi McLendon-Covey was great to see but not enough to last more then a half hour then fast forward to the end to see if it stuck the landing. It didn't so very happy I didn’t waste the time in the middle listening to that insanely grating voice.

Compared to recent comedies out of Hollywood this is a damn Oscar winner! Just relax and run with it, lots of little sight gags, some laugh out loud funny stuff. There are scenes where you can't tell what is reality and what isn't, that's OK because neither can our hero. Enjoy.
