[James Cameron]’s not in the film loads but the rapport between this one-time Hollywood enfant terrible turning surrogate girl dad and his co-director is sweet and unexpected. Go to Full Review

The result is something that, on a purely technical viewing experience, does feel like if not a reinvented, then a totally reinvigorated affair. Go to Full Review

Cameron and Eilish aren’t focused on exploring why her particular mix of ballsiness and introspection has resonated so deeply with millions. That would have made for a fascinating [documentary]... instead of this splashy style experiment. Go to Full Review

For the uninitiated, "Billie Elish – Hit Me Hard and Soft" provides context for Eilish’s enormous popularity. For fans, it’s pure catnip. Go to Full Review

Maria L. @RT57807155 1h If you missed the concert this is the next best thing, up close and personal with Billie and the fans in 3D!!! Loved it, will probably see it again. See more Filipa P @RT97557762 2h I saw this show live and knew visually it would be outstanding to see as a concert film. Billie has always been an amazing performer, and it feels like only people who have experienced her live can truly understand how this 5'3" girl can command such a huge stage all by herself and keep 20k+ people completely mesmerized for the entire duration of the show. But then you add the experience and expertise of someone like Cameron, and the film is elevated to a whole new level. Their creative partnership was perfect — the duo we didn’t know we needed. It left me wanting them to work together again on future projects. I really hope it happens. See more Dave R @RT25599791 4h Billie Eilish is a phenomenal artist who has full command of her creative output while refusing to conform to societal standards. James Cameron was given full access to the minimalist stage that Billie solely owns while connecting to her legions of fans. The film puts the viewer on stage right next to her; BRILLIANT! See more iitsssemma T @iitsssemma 5h It’s Billie come on ! But besides that you really have to appreciate an artist in this generation that decides to go the second mile even when they don’t have to in this economy.. shoot I wish I was in this documentary so I can fully explain things the fans didn’t in itself on how amazing Billie is as an artist, much more beautiful due to the fact on how life breaking she is when it comes to being a woman representing so many different things for people in this generation. She’s absolutely amazing, Billie if you see this I love you girl in the most respectful manner it would be amazing to have a 1v1 with you, keep it up truly because your words speaks to millions and that’s a skill that only God can give, I’ll listen to you until the day I die. The movie was amazing being able to experience the concert experience again ( because I experienced it in Charlotte, NC #pleasecomeagain ) thank you ! See more Noah T @Noah_ 6h Dreadful. Her narcissism shines bright in 3D. See more Shannon K. @ShanShan97 6h “it really reads from a distance!” james cameron please never change See more Read all reviews
