05/08/2014 An excellent political drama about the corruption of the Fujimori dictatorship in Peru, focussing on the death of a fictional judge and what his fiancée does to avenge his death. The movie keeps us watching with beautiful costumes, makeup, and the relationship between the fiancée and a cynical journalist who tries to stop her self-destruction. I don't think it's his best movie but I think he does a remarkable work. Excellent job of Magdiel Ugaz, almost as good is Melania Urbina. A special place in my heart: was the last movie I saw in the Lima Film Festival (back in 2006).
