Absolutely gripping from opening scene to ending. Tells an incredibly important tale of Irish history and helps explain why Irish still feel so much wrath towards the British. Every land across the earth has felt the anger and pain of dislocation, the forced removal and loss of language, culture, freedom, and Ireland is no different. If we forget history and its mistakes, we learn nothing. So well acted, so well done. A brilliant film.

Not as good as the John Wick movies or Sisu, but in that style, and good enough to turn your brain off, relax, and watch a bunch of bad guys get what’s coming to them. If you’re in the mood for that kind of movie then this will definitely scratch the itch for you.

A great movie that is extremely culturally important to Irish-Americans and how and why our people ended up here. It's now a part of our families tradition of watching Irish cultural movies that we can connect to the stories of our ancestors and the brutality and abuses they suffered. Great movie!
