Boy Culture is an undemanding but sufficiently engaging serving of smut and sentiment. As such, it reclaims territory that queer cinema has largely ceded to TV shows like Queer as Folk, The L Word and Six Feet Under.

Smart and funny with wonderful performances. Surprisingly moving as the lead character learns from an older gay man the value of taking emotional risks in both life and love. Sexy too!

Pretty entertaining and very fluffy. Some interesting ideas and a few scenes were chuckle-worthy. I found it a bit cheesy at times especially the end but there were some things I really related to and it was just a cute movie. I can't complain. 2.5/5
