The film creates nonstop tension from beginning to end while keeping the audience completely invested. What makes it stand out is how claustrophobic and suspenseful it feels without relying on huge action scenes or constant twists. Every moment feels important, and the atmosphere keeps getting heavier as the story progresses. Ryan Reynolds delivers one of his strongest performances here, carrying the entire movie with raw emotion and believable panic. The direction and sound design also deserve praise for making such a limited setting feel gripping and cinematic. Overall, Buried is a smart, nerve-racking thriller that succeeds through strong acting, tension, and simplicity. It is a film that sticks with you long after it ends, and I’d easily give it a 9/10.
