Racecar Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and his tow-truck buddy, Mater (Larry the Cable Guy), have had their share of adventures together but nothing like what they experience when they head overseas for the first-ever World Grand Prix. While Lightning has his eye on the road to the championship, Mater takes a detour to international espionage when he meets British master spy Finn McMissile (Michael Caine) and stunning spy-in-training Holley Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer).

Cars 2 is as visually appealing as any other Pixar production, but all that dazzle can't disguise the rusty storytelling under the hood.

This movie is my Childhood Classic. This, along with Cars 1, is the reason why I became a fan of this glorious franchise from Pixar. I don't give a "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" if people say that this is the worst Pixar movie ever, even if it flopped the box office.

I'm very sad that I thought I love cars 2 but it is an okay sequel everyone somehow hates this movie because its a spy movie but to me no I don't hate it but its okay finn and holly had a very interesting spy arc and they made mater the main character he's okay as the main character got a tiny bit unrelative in this movie and that's all I have to say overall okay sequel 6/10

I love this movie so much! As a kid, I also loved watching this movie, and it was the perfect mix of action and feelings. I also love Mator and love that he is seen a lot in this movie.

To be clear, the five stars is purely based on nostalgia. This was a really big deal when I was a kid. That being said, it's still a really fun spy movie that I find incredibly entertaining to this day. I legitimately think this is a good, cool, spy movie, just a very drastic departure from the kind of thing Pixar usually does. It's not the most emotionally charged film from the studio, but it has an interesting plot, memorable characters, an insanely good score, and some of the best action I've ever seen in an animated movie.
