Rosette Oct 1, 2026 It was slowly building the story for the viewer. I especially liked that it wasn’t in chronological order because it mirrors your memories and how they become distorted after the relationship, and I love the deep themes of love and loss and growth. I walked out of there feeling stronger in my sense of self having healed from a long relationship. See more Cecil Roberson Sep 27, 2026 The film is beautifully acted by the leads, Emilia and Nick. It is also smartly written and a realistic portrayal of the rollercoaster of young love. It’s a solid film. See more Glenda Sep 26, 2026 The quality for sure was an indie movie. I enjoyed the realistic relationship dynamic between the main characters but it didnt capture my attention as much as other movies Its one that you can wait till it hits streaming services. See more jesse v Sep 26, 2026 a lookback of a love relationship between teenagers and their lives. nothing else. no frills, though i wish there were the inclusions of their parents and more cellphone usage and more friend groups (and how the characters got them). Also EAT YOUR HEART OUT TONY [the movie] and ONE NIGHT ONLY!! but how exactly did the gathering dinner happen? and how did Harper navigate life being dyslexic? also the new years dancing scene should have had HALF flashing lights, think of the epilepsy warning! i also wished there was more setup connecting the present timeline and future timeline, like 20 minutes extra. also less forced new Orleans scenery See more Patrick W @Waxman Oct 10, 2026 Absolutely adore the movie, we have all gone through love and breakup See more J. Steven M @RT84701543 Oct 6, 2026 I've seen this film twice. It is a real gem, the type of film we don't often get about young love. It is uncynical, earnest, and romantic in a way that we just don't see in cinemas enough! This isn't necessarily a movie where you discuss what it's about, but HOW it's about it. The story of two lovers who meet early in life and watch each other grow, while trying to figure out how they can still love the other person while they change, is not the first tale about young love. But it's the way this story is told, with conviction and truth by its actors, that lingers in the mind after the film ends. The characters feel lived-in and real. They don't have remarkable lives, but we recognize the reality they inhabit. The direction is unfussy and inspired. The lensing is handsome and evocative. This is a movie that will cause you to look up your ex, wondering if you owe each other one final conversation. See it! See more Read all reviews
