07/28/2021 Superb! Do not pay any attention to the professional film critics that probably never found out what real life is like. This movie follows along as it is written in diaries, history, and journals of ordinary people trying to survive. This is what happens when there is such hatred against civilians. It captures the pathos of French villagers doing the best they can to flee the on-coming German Blitzkrieg. The lead characters are attractive people that you're rooting for.
