Five years after Maj. Scott McCoy resigned from the U.S. Delta Force due to bureaucracy issues, he returns with Col. Alexander to take down Lebanese terrorists who have hijacked a Boeing 707. Terrorist leader Abdul Rifi takes the crew and passengers hostage as he reroutes the plane to Beirut. When McCoy and Alexander attempt to save the hostages once the plane lands, they are forced to battle a terrorist group that's larger than expected.

Comando Delta é um típico representante do cinema de ação da década de 80: intenso, direto e carregado de tensão política. Mas diferente de muitos filmes do gênero, ele dedica grande parte do tempo à construção do drama do sequestro antes de mergulhar na ação militar. Essa decisão narrativa cria uma atmosfera mais pesada e angustiante, aproximando o filme de um thriller de crise internacional. A história começa com o sequestro de um avião americano por um grupo de terroristas ligados ao Irã. Entre os passageiros estão civis inocentes, incluindo cidadãos americanos e israelenses - o que transforma o incidente em uma crise diplomática internacional. Os sequestradores desviam a aeronave para o Líbano, onde mantêm os reféns sob ameaça constante. Enquanto isso, os governos dos Estados Unidos e de Israel acompanham a situação com crescente preocupação. É nesse momento que entra em cena o Comando Delta, uma força especial encarregada de missões de alto risco. ⭐ Nota final: 7 / 10.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I was impressed by the realistic, you are there, terrorism hijack scenes , Movie pushes all the right buttons in these intense hijack moments, Overall, the action is slightly better than average, Lee Marvin is collecting a paycheck, He makes no attempt at a performance, Chuck is good, but relies on his silly motorcycle missles and mortars to do most of the acting for him, Lots of famous faces in supporting roles, Movie is overlong, with terrible rah rah repetitive music from usually reliable Alan Silvestri, His score got annoying real fast,
