“Dinner in America” is the sort of movie that a group of friends would have rented at their local Blockbusters in the ‘90s if all the copies of “Heathers” and “Pump Up the Volume” had been gone.

Rehmeier has created a punk rock Bonnie and Clyde, and the Patty/Simon relationship is a “nothing to lose by staying true” style of adventures, and nobody "adventures" better than an on-the-lam punk rocker and his music girlfriend. W/Emily/Kyle Podtalk.

This is the kind of movie that rivals Napoleon Dynamite but for gen z. The way it pokes fun at everyone was great. Very original; it did not disappoint. I’ll recommend it to anyone from the gen x to z!!
