"Dirty Weekend" is a decent idea for a low-budget movie that never gets past the idea stage, and after a brief while, you may start to question whether it should have been a movie at all, much less a 90-minute one.

As always with LaBute's talkathons, dialogue is ever purposeful and oh-so-empty, less indicative of flesh-and-blood people than a dramatist's deliberateness, though Eve and Broderick make the most of their dully comic exchanges.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Classic LaBute showing mild mannered people are not quite that and always more interesting (sexually) under the surface. Good performances by Eve and Broderick showing their theatre chops

I was actually quite surprised... I don't see how this film got such a low rating... Matthew Broderick was brilliant... & Alice Eve was exceptional in her supporting role... not trying to outshine Broderick, just being perfectly complementary.
