Fifty T @RT01421419 7 hrs ago Easy-Going Romance That Trips Over a Preachy Final Act A genuine sense of warmth, yet it missed a real shot at greatness. The direction and acting are great throughout, and the steady pacing kept me hooked for most of the runtime. Siddhant Chaturvedi is especially good, delivering a vulnerable performance and handling his speech impediment sensitively. However, that specific pronunciation quirk felt far-fetched due to some lazy writing; it would have made much more sense to show it as a result of a rural or regional upbringing rather than some convoluted exception. Mrunal Thakur also conveys emotion beautifully, even if her character writing is a bit thin. My biggest gripe is the final 40 min. The film goes overboard with sermonizing about work ethics and body positivity, when the same insecurities deserved more nuance. Even the songs are just "fine" - pleasant enough, but forgettable for a top-tier love story. It is a solid 7/10 that just needed more diligent writing. At least someone tried to portray what love actually is—that it comes with insecurities and self-doubts, which both share and grow together alongside. We really need such love stories that introduce us to reality because life is not always black and white; it's a million shades of grey for everyone, and we have to learn how to navigate those shades with patience, honesty, and courage. Real love is not about perfection, but about choosing each other even on the uncertain days, understanding flaws instead of running from them, and growing stronger together through every doubt, fear, and challenge that comes along. Hat's off to the writer and directors, and especially the actors. I also know most people will not even bother to watch this film because obviously it's not a SRK, aur Ranbir Kapoor movie, but we should watch cinema for ourselves, not for the actors See more Harish N @harish_napa Apr 19, 2026 This 2026 urban drama is a terrific feel good film that offers a refreshing look at modern love. It is a visually soft and grounded production that focuses on the quiet insecurities of two professionals in Mumbai, proving that the most meaningful connections are found in shared vulnerabilities. Mrunal Thakur is great as Roshni, delivering an understated performance that captures the fragility of a woman hiding behind a defensive attitude. Siddhant Chaturvedi is equally brilliant, portraying internal struggles with a quiet sincerity that makes his journey toward self acceptance feel genuinely moving. Their chemistry is built on small gestures, making their bond feel authentic. The writing is simple and focuses on the emotional hurdles of an arranged marriage meeting. While the screenplay can feel a bit stretched, the high quality cinematography creates a cozy atmosphere. The highlight is the gentle way the story handles self worth, making it a sweet and high quality one time watch.
