Corey C @Battaglia173 5d I understand that these giant studios want movies that have "something for everyone" to spread as many roots out as possible to make money, but it should be a crime to make historical biopics that are actually love stories. There was no need for the romance. It would have been better to stick with the investigation of those who committed war crimes and the Emperor's role in the war. See more Andy M @Andy123267 08/18/2024 Interesting topic for a film. If you have a special interest in WW2, Japanese history or Historical movies in general then it's worth a watch. However don't expect to be on the edge of your seat or even to be all that entertained. The film has a B story line about General Fellas' pre war relationship with a Japanese national, very boring and ultimately didn't seem to enhance the film in anyway, it almost seemed like they added it in to pad the movie out. Ultimately it's wasn't a bad film. Just a bit dull.
