For all the intense drama and metaphor, the stopped-time trope has something weirdly romantic and dreamy about it. Go to Full Review

Isla G @RT86513232 May 1 The initial concept, the atmosphere presented during the first half of the film, honestly struck me as somewhere between good and very good. The duality of taking advantage of a certain "power" to exact revenge on bad people, knowing that what he was doing wasn't right either, and discovering that there was someone else with the same ability, creating a certain mystery—all well and good. But exactly at the 50-minute mark, the film becomes downright lazy, from the subplots they start introducing, to the "rebel group vs. government" cliché, to the relationship that should be extremely important but is completely nonexistent, and so on. The limited animation, with a clearly low to poor budget, doesn't help to give more weight to moments where the characters should express doubts, fears, and other emotions on their faces. It's a shame because the first half was really good, and then it falls apart. See more Jean A @RT56983234 07/05/2023 2/10 for the two good ideas alone. It promises everything, delivers nothing, plays with terrorism, the socio-economics of a country, political relations, but prefers to develop VERY BADLY a teenage relationship that STARTS FROM NOTHING AND GOES TO NO PLACE! There are two things that if they were better executed would be cool: the phaser effect on the sound when time is stopped. And another cool thing is the power of time travel coming from personal trauma! Good ideas! But the other stuff in the movie, including the entire story, might try to do it all over again!
