Jonatan 02/26/2025 This movie is bananas! Gory , nasty, brutal, and unrelenting. Amazing practical effects and kills! People complain cause the tone is different but this is its own thing! This feels more like a horror film rather than a thriller/comedy like the original films. I was actually scared and had to look away from the screen a few times while watching this. The references to the original movie throughout this film was a nice addition. I’m way more excited to watch the rest of the franchise now. See more Zoe K @HorrorHead 4d A decent remake of the original film that also serves as a loose in-continuity sequel. It has some gnarly gore and some shocking moments and is a fun watch with all the family. I remember I saw this in the cinema in 2013 and they called an ambulance for some patron who fainted and had to be carted off in a gurney! That was the last time I saw that happen but yeah the Meat-cutter, the nail gun, there is so many squirmy gory moments. The best of the new trilogy but also I wish the frnachise would stop copy pasting this films format going forward.
