The action is what saves Extraction from being totally written off considering its story and characters are so generic - the screenplay from Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame) does it no favours.

Enjoyable movie, yes its packed with countless shooting and a simple plot but its easy to watch, if you want intense dramas then its not for you, there are times you just want to sit back and watch an action movie this fits the bill

This movie has a great story and does capture people’s attention because it’s one of a kind. The way the mission is scripted and how it is executed, good characters in the movie make it likable. I can watch it once more.

Not a bad movie. I will say that even though Extraction has a middle of the road action plot, the camera work is amazing. The action sequences are pretty awesome as well and I would recommend Extraction to action fans.

The endless spawning of bad guys during the many shootouts was an unnecessary distraction from an otherwise good movie. And Golshifteh deserved more screen time. And it should have ended after Rake falls from the bridge. But otherwise it's a good movie.

Comparing this movie to John Wick is like asking which is better: Pepsi Black or Itubaína. Both work perfectly for me. Every scene is incredible. I wish all action movies were directed like this — it spoiled me in the best (or worst) way. I just wish they hadn’t turned it into a franchise, since I usually prefer self-contained stories. But here we go… on to the next movie.
