The prospect of Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan in a Miami Cuban-flavoured remake of Father of the Bride is an intriguing one. Sadly, this new movie strips out everything that made the 1991 Steve Martin version so special.

Not worth watching. I thought this movie would have the fun light hearted vibe that the original had, but instead it was depressing (following a story line of the parents of the bride divorcing). There were not even funny moments that landed… very disappointing.
