I loved how easily I got lost in the world of Fingernails. How much I liked watching the characters, and especially how hard I laughed. Despite some hairy scenes involving fingernails... this is a surprisingly comfortable watch.

As talented as the cast is (Buckley and Ahmed in particular) certain scenes drag a little too long, and at various points in the third act, Fingernails starts to feel clumsy and forced. The film could easily have been a half hour shorter.

Worst movie ever. The whole premise was shotty. A love computer does not make any sense. Any happily married couple know that love is an action and not an emotion. We all choose who to love. In addition, not only was there and effeminate cuckhold husband but their was a cheating wife that showed that loyalty means nothing.

*Spoiler Alert* I would not watch this again. In real life, there are consequences for actions. The message of 'you don't need a test to verify that it's love' is so obvious that the film falls into a naive, magical-thinking premise. In reality, if the protagonist were to test their fingernails to that of their current boyfriend and new love interest, they'd likely lose both men in the process. This would have ended differently and been a cautionary tale of what not to do.
