When a rich hedge-fund manager, James, is convicted of fraud and sentenced to a stretch in San Quentin, the judge gives him one month to get his affairs in order. Knowing that he won't survive more than a few minutes in prison on his own, James turns to Darnell, a Black businessman who's never even had a parking ticket, for help. As Darnell puts James through the wringer, both learn that they were wrong about many things, including each other.

Occasionally offensive-but what R-rated comedy in the last ten years isn't?-but worse than that, it takes the easy way out and in the process wastes the opportunity to dig a bit deeper and make the class warfare comedy a bit richer.

As long as you aren't expecting The Godfather and are expecting a serviceable Ferrell and Hart pairing with quite a few bad jokes, you'll be in for a pretty good time.

This was an incredibly fun and whacky movie that was a joy to sit through! The comedic power of Will Ferrell and Kevin Heart was utilized perfectly. I definitely recommend this for comedy and crime fans!

Synopsis
