In Stratford-Upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, Miss Capulet and Mr. Montague feud over whose garden is the better. Garden gnomes that decorate each neighbor's flower beds continue the rivalry when the humans aren't looking, and gnomes from the Red Gardens don't get along with those of the Blue Gardens. Then Gnomeo (James McAvoy), a Blue, and Juliet (Emily Blunt), a Red, fall in love, leaving many obstacles to overcome.

People hate the movie because it alternates the tragedy into something happier, but it actually helps me with tragic thoughts because it makes room for something uplifting. And Elton John’s duet with Lady Gaga was one of my childhood hits, so I personally think it’s underrated. No one has to agree. ♡

Weirdly this movie had some kind of funny movies, although not really. Its really generic... imagine taking a story that is considered one of the best stories of all time and taking the whole tragedy element (Which is was made it so good.) and just throwing out the window. That is basically what this movie is. They couldn't kill off a single character and a story that is supposed to be emotional ends with a dance party... it's actually near offensive.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever watched. There are many dirty jokes weaved into it, yet it remains ridiculously corny and stupid. You start to wish that "Gnomeo" and Juliet had died in the end when there's a whole wedding. It's completely stupid, I honestly don't know if they were trying to make the script that bad. Don't believe it's for kids, I'm a kid, my whole class watched it, and EVERYONE was cringing.
