This might have been a sterner film if another actor played Marc and Levy applied more scrutiny to the character, but he’s done enough here to establish himself as a filmmaker.

Good Grief asks the question: How do you continue grieving a loved one after they hurt you? Levy only provides a generic answer for whatever reason, but at least he had the good sense to cast a stellar ensemble to carry this project through.

This was a wonderful directorial debut for Mr Levy. Although I wasn't buying the chemistry or lack there of between Levy and Evans. The lack of on screen time together I think is to blame. The friendships and the chemistry they shared was believable. Typical safe ending but still a very heartfelt film with very good performances from some. Tim Treakle

The most boring film I have seen in my lifetime! There wasn't a single main character that I gave a damn about except for the small roles of a Handsome Frenchman and a young German. I couldn't finish the film and I don't have any interest in how it ended.

Honestly this movie was so moving and beautiful in the saddest way. Went right into my top 5 favorite holiday movies of all time which also include love actually, the holiday, last holiday and it’s a wonderful life. For me it captured the epitome of grief in love, and will having me gripping my chest in tears for years to come.. 5 STARS!! I would also like to add a nod to the soundtrack 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It starts off pretty well, albeit it needs a little bit more character development. It's emotional in parts, very much so. For me, it turned out to be modern aristocratic drivel. You actually end up feel less and less for the characters as it goes on. I'm not sure where the positive reviews are coming from.
