If it separates itself from more generic fare, it's because it focuses on a particular family and not on ten thousand different characters, and because it places great emphasis on the emotional tragedy they find themselves in. [Full review in Spanish].

Inspired by Leonard B, i created an account solely to say this movie, errr… is not good. Not just poor decision making, but downright wrong decision making to make a plot point ruins the movie. If you haven’t started, you should find something else. If your less than thirty minutes in and think, "i don’t know what that guy was talking about, this looks good". Leave while you still can. After an hour and you think, "that guy was right, i should have listened". Go ahead and finish the movie so you can come back here and leave a similar warning to the next person.

This movie was so awful. The family acts entitled and was extremely selfish. I didn't find any redeeming characteristic for any of the main characters. The plot armor is thick with them. I can't believe they made a second film.
