This movie has been sitting in my library of "Must Watch" for so long now (1+ year), I finally decided to watch it, and I can now tell you that this is an absolute must watch. It is incredible and I cannot even fathom that this is even a true story, its very emotional, it tells exactly what you need to know about Sir Desmond Doss, he is truly admirable, his story is deserving to be seen, pair with Andrew Garfield performance.

While the early parts of the movie could probably be condensed without losing any significance of the story or its impact, the battle scenes are superb, and Garfield represents Doss in a way befitting a true war hero - a very good performance. Hacksaw Ridge is an all round excellent story of courage, valor, honour, and grit during the Pacific War.
