Carter H @quality_finds Oct 26, 2026 Rest in peace Donald Pleasence. He will always carry this movie, taking it to a higher rating on everyone’s ranking. The plot doesn’t go anywhere without Dr. Loomis. Although the setting was perfect for Halloween. The movie is scary, good for fans, and shows Michael’s abilities. Its a bit entertaining, it’s not super entertaining but its not bad. I mean I liked the movie, But the end was really bad. Halloween 4 just doesn’t achieve anything, if the director’s idea was to just show off Michael, well the character wasn’t poorly placed. And I can’t say there aren’t very memorable scenes. But the movie could definitely be better. Im not hating on this movie, but is it really great? No. Did I like it? I did to an extent, but the ending was laughably awful Although Donald Pleasence’s reaction was very well acted and entertaining per usual I have to give this movie 2.5 stars, it’s a fan movie, I liked it See more Kevin G @RT09447547 Oct 18, 2026 i really enjoy this film. though its nto as good as the first two. its still great. See more J H @UpstateNYThriller Sep 21, 2026 8/10 Myers trilogy , 80s Right in the middle in terms of the Myers movies. Probably the fifth/ sixth best one. Michael Myers tracks down his niece. See more Alex B @AlexBioni Sep 21, 2026 Jamie’s First Halloween The intro to this movie is awesome. Michael in the ambulance is one I always remember from the series. Most of the kills are cool, with some real oh sh*t moments near the end. I like Jamie’s acting, especially at her age. The ending is iconic, and I love the atmosphere, especially the opening crawl. How in the world are Dr. Loomis and Michael alive after the second movie? How can Michael even see? What kind of scum kids make fun of a kid who’s an orphan with a dead mom? The mask looks awful. Rachel is easily my least favorite character. She spends the whole movie thinking about herself and barely seems to care about her adopted younger sister. I also wish we were told what happened to Laurie. The plot is thin and derivative, and the pacing could be better. I do like the tension near the end, and Jamie is a great addition to the series. There are plenty of things I like here, but it feels like a step backward. See more Read all reviews
