See more Claudio C @Claudio666 May 16 Home Sweet Home: Rebirth (2025) Great CGI, Terrible Story and Acting (12,448 – 15 May 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) The former cop Jake travels to Bangkok with his wife Prang and their little daughter Loo on vacation and to visit his mother-in-law. They go to a mall to buy a gift to his mother-in-law and out of the blue, a shooter, Mek, kills several people. Jake sends Prang and Loo to the toilet and confronts Mek that blow up and kills them. Jake wake up in the purgatory The Hindrance, where the monk Chan tells him that he is The Keeper, who will prevent the Apocalypse, and his death has the intention to open the Gates of Hell. Now he needs to return to the world of living to save mankind. Reading the storyline of "Home Sweet Home: Rebirth" (2025), the film seems to be good. Unfortunately, the CHI is great but the story is confusing and the acting is terrible. My vote is four. This film really has nothing going for it. The acting is not good (looking at William Moseley) at times but the dialogues are so much worse. As a result none of these people act like real human beings after the first 15 minutes. You can't follow the plot of the movie even if you tried, it throws so many curve balls your way, I guess the director and writers didn't know either. Even the cinematography is weird. Why choose this angle over another? Yes it looks cool, but what does it do for the progression? One of the worst apocalyptic films I've ever watched and frankly, if my father didn't like low budget productions that run 15 years late on FTA television programs which he begs me to watch with him when I come visit, the worst film I'd have ever seen. The script and story were all but incomprehensible, and the direction was terrible, but the acting was ABYSMAL. The half star is for the CGI crew, who created a pretty cool giant flaming skeleton. I was rooting for the giant flaming skeleton to eat everyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME.
