The mystery is too predictable, with key reveals arriving early and reducing the impact of later developments. Stronger misdirection and tighter writing could have elevated the tension significantly. Even so, If I Can’t Have You remains a watchable thriller. It holds attention through its mood and pacing, offering a simple but effective one-time viewing experience.
