Adapted from a best seller by Jennifer Weiner, this tends toward petty audience manipulation, though Diaz and Collette strike sparks in the early scenes. Go to Full Review Liz Moody Empire Magazine Apr 1, 2006

Considering it doesn't star Maggie Smith or Judi Dench, it's surprising how mature and moving this female-focused drama is. Go to Full Review Ellie Lucas The Dispatch (Lexington, NC) Jun 5, 2019

"In Her Shoes" is an unbalanced movie that teeters between saccharine fluff and preachy self-help sentiment. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Faithful Film B @rollreels Oct 11, 2026 I need to watch this again with my sister! 💕 See more Alyssa B @alyunlivre Oct 1, 2026 A poignant film filled with truth and situations that, unfortunately, can happen in real life. It offers a beautiful lesson about the importance of understanding each other, finding our way back to one another, and remembering that a sister can also be your best friend. I always wished I had a sister, but I never did. This film beautifully represents that unique and precious bond. A touching story that truly stayed with me. See more Tim M @tgmacman Jun 16, 2026 Overlong, In Her Shoes nevertheless proves surprisingly poignant thanks to solid lead performances from Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette. See more Kathy V. @RT64332554 May 29, 2026 I thought it was really a heart felt movie. Good movie, maybe a tad too long. Held my interest. See more Stephen C @bob25009 May 9, 2026 The worldwide gross is $83,697,473.00 over a production budget of $35,000,000.00. Difference of $48,697,473.00. See more Read all reviews
